Art is love, creativity and devotion…

With my artistic and creative nature, I have always been engaged, since childhood, in many and different artisan and manual projects. My interest in art led me to explore and develop several fields, till to approach me to a decorative technique similar to mosaic and “Trencadis”.

This technique, which I have developed in a completely personal way, consists in the application of fragments of ceramics or pieces of glass in order to cover a surface, like plates, clocks, frames and wooden supports. It offers many possibilities of experimentations and great artistic and personal growth. It captures you, you start it for game but you are so greatly fascinated that remain sweetly imprisoned. In addition to being an art form, is also a medium that allows me to express my feelings, my states of mind, my thoughts. Every artwork, in fact, should not be regarded as a mere conglomeration of colorful tiles juxtaposed to one another, but it is the story of someone who has achieved it, his/her heart, his/her mind. It is an idea that takes possession of the space, because it allows to discover and to recompose the matter in a form, color and structure.

Each of these works, always different and timeless, is the result of meticulous patience, perseverance and passion. The production, in fact, is totally manual, beginning from the cut of the material, and concurs to create different tesserae, in infinite chromatic shadings, drawn and modeled in a completely handicraft way.

With this website, I hope to communicate this passion and give a little more visibility to an expressive and artistic form that deserves it a lot.
